"Hello everyone,

Thanks for your interest in my products and stopping by to visit my website! My name is Petra and my life revolves around horses, as I am sure yours does as well. I've been around the since I was a little girl and I can spend hours just grooming and bonding with them. My horses are turned out most of the time if weather permits and go blanket-less whenever possible to avoid blanket rubs (don't you find that even the best fitting blanket will rub somewhere?), so a good groom is always needed.

Our family consists of three equine citizens. One of them has a very sensitive skin and would get so itchy and irritated after a bath with other shampoo brands, I wanted to cry. I have sensitive skin too and would often end up with rash on my hands, so I knew exactly how Durango felt. You see; the majority of grooming products available on the market are packed with harsh chemicals like lauryl sulphates, silicone, and parabens. They're bad for our health, bad for our environment, and definitely bad for our horses! This is when I decided to find an alternative to these traditional grooming products. First, was a thorough look into grooming product ingredients that didn't make sense to me at all and I questioned the logic of using grooming products that contain ingredients toxic to fish and wildlife on my equine friends. This led me to search for truly natural and effective grooming products, and upon discovering a complete lack of comprehensive product lines, decided to develop my own.

Lots of hard work, long nights, juggling two jobs, and most recently a newborn baby girl (she already has her own pony :), I have finally established an environmentally friendly grooming line focused on performance. Although the work is hard, the results are rewarding, and who wouldn't have fun doing what you love; working with horses! I am constantly taking and filling orders and working to develop new products to add to the EcoLicious line and make our two legged and four legged customers happy. I must also mention my dear friends (you know who you are) for lending their helping hands whenever needed. It  wouldn't be possible without you.

EcoLicious products are not only safe, they deliver breath-taking results. I am positive both your horse as well as yourself will enjoy the EcoLicious Experience and I know the earth will for sure.
